Jenni Shires - Owner, Massage Therapist, Esthetician

 A Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician for 19 years, Jenni found her calling in the Spa industry the minute she stepped into one. She lived in the Caribbean for 3 years, managing four World Class Spas throughout the British Virgin Islands. Working in the “center of the spa world” gave her the opportunity to explore many cutting edge treatments, expanding her knowledge and helping her passion for the spa industry grow tremendously. This gave her the desire to take what she has learned and open her own location. She also teaches Massage and Spa therapies at various massage schools, which gives her an opportunity to pass on her passion to other therapists.

She lives in Lake Tapps with her wonderful, supportive husband of 15 years, Cricket, and her 2 beautiful (hopefully future spa therapists!) daughters, Simonne (11), and Eve (8). When she is not busy at the spa, she loves to travel with her family, have fun in the sun, watch her daughters play soccer, and have quiet coffee time with Cricket.

Jenni specializes in Aromatherapy, Lomi Lomi Massage, Eyebrow Shaping and Botanical Peels with a focus on anti-aging & problematic skin.

Stephanie - Manager, Massage Therapist

Stephanie wears many hats, but being a Massage Therapist at Solei is definitely one of her favorites. After graduating with honors and a Spa Specialist/Aromatherapy certification from Ashmead College in early 2008 and earning her LMP license, she operated her own clinic in Tacoma before being asked by Solei owner (and her former instructor!) Jenni Shires to join the team. Steph is kind of a "jack-of-all-trades" LMP; she's well-trained and enjoys working with her guests in a variety of massage modalities and spa treatments. She has been with Solei from the very beginning and is proud of her new role as manager and all the responsibilities it brings.

In early 2012, Stephanie will be attending The Salon Professional Academy to add Licensed Esthetician to her bag of tricks. In her very little spare time she loves to read, spend time with her adorable rescue dog Scully, and travel. Stephanie specializes in customized massage and strives to make every experience on her table exactly what her guest desires.   

Brandi - Front desk Staff

A recent UW graduate, Brandi is the newest addition to the Solei team.  After working in the coffee industry for five years, she sought a more relaxing occupation and has been enjoying the soothing atmosphere of Solei Day Spa ever since! 

When she's not assisting clients or other members of the Solei team, Brandi thoroughly enjoys reading, photography, jewelry craftsmanship, traveling, and spending time with her two adorable puppies, Bella and Izze.  She has studied abroad in many European and Mediterranean countries, but hopes to return as a tourist rather than a student.

After receiving her Bachelor's in Business Administration, Brandi hopes to one day own her own business, but is unsure at this point exactly what industry she would like to pursue.

Melissa - Massage Therapist

Melissa graduated from Ashmead College in the Summer of 2007.  She also received her Spa Specialist/Aromatherapy certificate along with her LMP license.  After graduation, Melissa moved to Redding, CA with her husband where she worked at a Massage clinic for two years.  As soon as Melissa moved back to Washington in the summer of 2009, she found her dream job at Solei!

Besides massaging and helping people feel better, Melissa has interests in sports, reading, hot yoga, and movies.  She also enjoys playing with her pug Mojo, spending time with her husband, and the joys of becoming a brand new mommy!

Melissa, who also goes by Mel, loves the spa atmosphere at Solei and her fellow co-workers are like a big family.  She is able to do anything from a light, relaxing massage or body treatment to a more therapeutic deep tissue massage.  Melissa loves meeting new people and seeing them leave with smiles on their faces!

Sadie - Esthetician

A Licensed Esthetician and educator for the skin care line Bioelements, Sadie enjoys assisting clients to help reach their ultimate skin care goal.  She enjoys educating clients on proper skin care regimens for anti-aging, acneic, and sensitive skin conditions.  With an interest in holistic health, she enjoys helping clients reach deep relaxation to assist with skin rejuvenate and stress relief.  If your skin is taxed and you are tired, come see Sadie to unwind and rejuvenate.

Sadie graduated from Clover Park Technical College in 2008, making the Dean's List and graduating with honors.  She has received advanced training through Bioelements on chemical peels and anti-aging treatments, as well as in-depth ingredient product knowledge on our wonderful skin care line.

When Sadie isn't in the spa or educating, she enjoys wedding and portrait photography, travel, finding quirky antiques, playing the mandolin, and spending quality time with her daughter.  Her photography can also be viewed at www.sadiewilliamsphotography.com.

Tricia - Esthetician

Tricia graduated from Gary Manuel Aveda Institute 3 years ago when she obtained her Esthetician License.  She absolutely loves everything about the industry and to be able to work with people that are also so passionate about what they do!  Tricia specializes in waxing, from a full leg wax to the detailed work of shaping brows, as well as being our resident Airbrush Tan expert.  She also gives a fantastic relaxing facial, specializing in cutting edge anti-aging treatments.

When she isn't in the spa, Tricia loves the outdoors!  Camping, riding her four wheeler, snowboarding, and spending time working on her new house with her husband Chris and dog Hemi 

Becky - Interior Designer Extraordinaire

Rebecca LaFranchi is the mastermind behind the amazing décor of Solei. She also happens to be the sister and best friend of the owner, Jenni Shires (imagine the luck!).

When Jenni came home from Tortola, BVI, she talked about wanting to open a spa and the concept began to take shape. It was always in the back of their minds and they would talk about it often. When the time finally came to more forward, the design plan came together quickly and easily, as it had lived inside their minds for so long. Some of the key words Becky used when coming up with the design were texture, urban, comfortable, rich, structured, color, and line.

She received her design education at the Art Institute of Seattle as a gift to herself when she turned 30. She also owned her own residential design business for a short time called Schmancy. Today, Becky has her dream Design job and resides in Philly, when she isn't traveling all over the US and Sweden for work. Oh, the life!  She has a 2 wonderful kids, Cory and Ariel. She loves spending time with family, either lounging on her back porch or doing what every woman loves ... shopping!

Becky’s favorite treatments have been all of them! She loves the Buff and Bronze. It has made her look fabulous on some very important date nights! And you can't go wrong with any of the facials - absolute heaven. She hopes you enjoy the experience of just being in the spa as much as the treatments themselves!
