You've got the lashes, now preserve them! With diligent care you can increase the longevity of your lash extensions and lessen irritations.

Lash Extension Care DOs:

  • MUST use a Foaming Lash Cleanser: Apply with a makeup brush-2x daily

  • We highly recommend using GrandeLASH-MD Serum 2-3x a week to strength, protect and blend your natural lashes

  • Use only oil-free makeup remover and products recommended by your Lash Artist

  • Brush & Groom your lashes using your lash brush daily

  • Pre-book your Lash fill after your appointment- recommended every 2-3 week (spaces fill up quickly!)

  • If you need to wear mascara, DO apply to the bottom lashes ONLY and try to use a water-based mascara (this will wash off easily without compromising your lash extensions)

Lash Extension Care DON'Ts:

  • No pulling, rubbing or tugging!

  • Do not perm, or tint lashes after the application

  • Stay away from using an eyelash curler

  • Try not to rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face

  • Do not pull on your new lash extensions!

  • Avoid tanning, hot yoga and saunas for 48 hours after application

  • Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hrs after application

Tips for beautiful lashes and what to expect!

Before  Your Appointment:

​Should I make an appointment or do you take walk-ins?  

We tend to have a full calendar most of the time. It is highly recommended that you schedule an appointment to ensure there is a technician available to cater to you.

New to Solei & Co. and not sure what to book?

We recommend booking a lash extension consultation if you are unsure! If you have allergies or are worried that your eyes will react, we encourage you to come in for a skin patch test prior to booking an appointment. Lash consultations/allergy test appointments require a 15 minute appointment at $15.

Do I have to do anything to prepare for the service? 

Prior to your appointment, try your best to arrive without any eye makeup, do not curl your lashes or wear mascara the day before and the day of your appointment. It will help minimize the cleanup time and more time for lash magic!

Will Solei & Co. retouch or fill my Eyelash Extensions if they are from another spa/salon? 

Yes, but due to the inconsistency in quality of lash extensions and application from one salon to another we cannot ensure a satisfaction guarantee. Please prepare for a 90 min service time.

Can I still get eyelash extensions if I am pregnant? 

There is no harm to your fetus during the application of eyelash extensions. However if lying on your back for 60+ minutes sounds uncomfortable please notify your technician in advance so the proper adjustments can be made.

During  Your Appointment:

Can I listen to music during my appointment?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to bring headphones! To ensure stillness and optimize your lash artist's time, we ask you to take this time to lay back and relax! It is common to listen to music, podcasts or take a relaxing nap while your expert lash artist makes some lash magic happen! If you’re planning to listen to music during your appointment then you’ll need to provide your own headphones and music listening device. Have a few playlists/podcasts lined up as you won’t be able to open your eyes during the appointment. We suggest more soothing music, your lash artist won’t want your head bobbing along...

After  Your Appointment:

How long will my lashes last? 

Your new lashes will last between 4 to 5 weeks depending on your skincare routine and your own natural lash life cycle. To maintain a full lash line maintenance refills are recommended every 2-3 weeks.

 

What is a Lash Fill, why is it recommended? 

Due to the growth cycle of your hair you will find your natural eyelashes shed every 60-90 days as new ones grows in. We recommend getting a fill every 2 to 3 weeks to add extensions to those hairs to maintain a full lash line.

When should I book my Lash Fill? 

To ensure you are able to get in for your Lash Fill appointment at a time that works best for you, we highly recommend booking your Lash Fill appointment when checking out of your service. 

 

How long does a refill appointment take? 

Fill service times are 60-75 minutes depending on lash type/retention.

 

How often do I need an Eyelash Extension fill?

 

  • You are eligible for a fill if at least 50% of your extensions are still in place.

  • Most Solei & Co. guests find that every 2 to 3 weeks works well for them, depending on their lash type. Solei & Co. offers mini fills, standard fills, and deluxe fills depending on retention level. Fill prices vary.

  • Clients with no, or very few lashes left, will be charged for a new full set.

I want to remove my eyelash extensions, can I book this service? 

Yes, lash extensions can be removed. There is generally a half hour service time and requires a fee of $29.
